Conceived from the
old sucker bet, that: "I can putt better than you using a ball
peen hammer".
What makes the One
Putz work? The One Putz takes complexities of the golfer's hands
and wrist out of the putting motion and forces the golfer to putt
from the shoulders.
The One Putz
offset grip also eliminates most of the radial movement. These
three factors; eliminating the unwanted wrist action, adding radial
stability and forcing the golfer to putt from the shoulders does
many things for the golfer and make the One Putz appealing to
golfers at many levels of play.
For the serious
student of golf the One Putz is a tremendous training aid
building muscle memory and forcing the golfer to putt from the
shoulders. Currently we are working with several golf schools and
collegiate golf teams to provide a new way of teaching proper
putting techniques.
For the not so
serious fun player it will allow them to putt like the pros. We hope
this is our biggest market. Paraphrased from a couple of staff
members at the USGA, "although the One Putz is not currently a legal
putter if it brings people out to the course to play we are all for
it. Promoting golf is our number one goal."
One of my personal
goals is to see the One Putz helping the physically impaired golfer
play a better round of golf. According to USGA rules the One Putz
can be a legal club if the configuration of the club aids the
golfer.
Marketing: we
feel the One Putz needs to be shown to the prospective golfer and
will be offering the putter exclusively to pro-shops, golf schools
and organizations who promote the game to our youth and to the
golfer with physical impairments. Physical distribution of the One
Putz is thru pro-shops and golf school partners and also direct via
e-business with links from authorized organizations and businesses.
A legal version of
the One Putz is also available. It is custom made to the
customer's specified shaft length and sells for $103.45 plus
shipping. If both are order together the shipping cost is waived.
Our custom shop is available to repair, build and modify any club to
the customer's specification. |
